Catalogue design for Fishers Fine Arts

Fishers Fine Arts represents six generations of quality fine art dealing. The gallery exhibited and represented a wide selection of quality New Zealand and International artists' work and handled the re-sale of some of New Zealand’s most renowned and famous artists. In 2009 the art institution closed after 138 years in business. The Fisher family spirit of art dealing lives on however with Simon Fisher founding Ocular in 2010.

The Black Window Towards Aramoana series brings together some of the most interesting and important aspects of Ralph Hotere’s practice. Not only are these paintings stunningly beautiful to look at, they are inspired compositions bringing together the very ‘essence’ of the man himself in terms of meaning, aesthetics and locale.
